Wizkid whose real names are “Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun,” is a Nigerian superstar musician and songwriter. Wizkid was born on 16th July 1990 in Surulere (a residential and commercial area of Lagos, Nigeria) where he grew up in a household of twelve female siblings. He was born into a polygamous family; his dad married three wives. Even though Wizkid’s father practices Islam, his mother is a Pentecostal Christian.
Wizkid started singing in local churches at age 11 with the stage name “Lil Prinz“, and he was already a lead singer in the church choir.
